My career has always revolved around helping people in the community. I started out as a resettlement case worker, helping people from Burmese and other parts of the world settle and start a new life in the U.S. Then, I worked as an interpreter, interpreting in schools, clinics, and hospitals. Eight years ago, I started my own tax preparation business serving mainly the Karen and Burmese population in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
